Windgap Foundation "White Christmas" fundraising dinner

I was delighted to pop in on Friday night to the Windgap Foundation’s White Christmas fund raising dinner at South Sydney Junior Rugby Leagues Club. Attended by Federal Member for Kingsford Smith Matt Thistlethwaite and Botany Bay Deputy Mayor George Glinatsis, it was terrific to see so many in the community support this wonderful not for profit organisation that provides so many services in this area to support people with intellectual disabilities.

The Windgap Foundation provides services, which include; supported employment, supported accommodation, training, community access and community participation.

Windgap is celebrating its 60th year of operation, and has established an outstanding reputation as a quality disability services in the Eastern Suburbs. As Windgap says it “prides itself on its values of caring, integrity, independence, innovation and empowerment. It is Windgap’s mission to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities by supporting them in reaching their full potential and raising community awareness as to their needs and aspirations.”
