Tempe High School P & C

Tempe High School Parents and Citizens Association held their final meeting of the year last week and I was delighted to be able to attend. The meeting was more of a Christmas celebration for the P & C together with the Principal Socrates Dassaklis and his executive staff. President Tanya Burrows, outlined many of the year’s achievements and outlined prospective goals for 2014.

Tempe High School is an excellent school; with dynamic staff, and a local community that provides terrific support to the school.

I have met with and made representations on behalf of the P & C's of both Tempe Public School and Tempe High School about the many traffic issues that effect students negotiating Unwins Bridge Road from Sydenham through to Tempe railway stations.

Tempe P&C's are a wonderful group of parents who want to make a difference in support of their schools and I would like to congratulate them on all their efforts for 2013.
