Botany Bay Business Enterprise Centre 25th anniversary

Mayor Ben Keneally with Ron Hoenig MP
I was delighted to be invited to drop in last night to the Botany Bay Business Enterprise Centre for their Christmas Get Together to celebrate its 25th Anniversary of its establishment.

The Botany Bay Business Enterprise Centre was established to help local people start new businesses and provide advice and assistance in business planning, marketing, budgeting and cash flow. The assistance provided is free, and the organisation is completely independent. Advice is of course confidential.

The organisation was established by Botany Bay City Council with support from the NSW Department of State and Regional Development and in run by an independent board comprising of representatives of the local business community. That business community comprises of large multi-national corporations and other successful small business operators.

It has provided a great contribution to those in the local community who wish to start their own enterprise, but do not know how.

Botany Bay Mayor Ben Keneally was present to present a plaque to the BEC to commorate its 25 years and cut the "birthday cake." Congratulation Botany Bay BEC.
